The Chief Time Keeper is responsible for the accuracy of the timing. The times must be made available to the Chief Secretary and The Chief of Scoring for immediate publication and calculation of results. They are also responsible for recording of data. The Chief Time Keeper may select an assistant. They are responsible for the organisation and layout of the finish area, including the proper crossing of the finish line by the competitors.
