# Lift lines

** Lift lines**, on

**ski lifts**, is the number of sliders waiting in line at each lift. This is a function of the uphill hourly capacity of the lift and the assumed length of wait time at each lift. The number of guests on each lift is the product of the number of

**carriers**on the uphill line and the capacity of the lift’s carriers.
