The FIS SnowKidz Award[1] was launched in May 2009. It is part of the international FIS Bring Children to the Snow campaign that was initiated by the FIS Council in December 2007. This award aims to recognize and promote the best examples of bringing children to the snow in varying national circumstances. It especially seeks examples of projects that have succeeded in bringing youngsters to the snow for the first time and help create long-term interest in snow activities among younger generations.

The ‘FIS SnowKidz Award’ will be presented every second year during the International Ski Congress.
