[edit] Comments

  1. Over the years, we have held TD seminar at Tokyo where, we believed, might be the most convenient place for all TD license holders. As a result, we have seen same faces. This was the first time FIS TD seminar held at Sapporo. Sapporo is located in Northern Island and known as the 1972 Olympic game host city. Because of rather far location from Main Island, the number of attendances was not so big. But at the same time we could find a couple of TD applicants.
  2. We could share so many ideas from FIS standardized curriculums and the reports from Edinburgh and Park City. Many thanks for Iain and Bruce. All of the participants felt that we are the member of FIS TDs
  3. There were a couple of comments raised for ICR 2010-11 precision
  • A : for icr 3043.7.3.2 Errors in Start Lists
    • We understood that competitor will be added at LAST start at SX.. He or She might have small disadvantage. Following this concept, HP MO AE are opposite. Soft and wet snow country like Japan, fist skier might have the best condition most of the time. SO we would like FIS to reconsider that Jury can decide that he or she will be added start list in either the first or the last start, depending on the conditions.
  • B : for 3045.4 Tie Breaking
    • Instead of using time judge, Head judge should be used to break the point, since head judge is the person seeing overall performance from the beginning
