This appendix describes data formats as they should be used in all outputs, unless other formats are specified in the description table or data matrix.

The following event statuses are applicable to event units (session, phase or event):

  • DNS - Did Not Start
  • DSQ - Disqualified
  • DNF - Did Not Finish
  • DQP - Potentially Disqualified (for real time only)

Rules for presentation of results for athletes with DNF, DNS, DSQ:

Mogul Qualification:

Mogul Final:

  • DNFs are listed first, followed by DNS. and finally DSQs are listed at the bottom of the final ranking.
  • For competitors who were Disqualified (DSQ), only bib number, FIS code, name and NOC will be presented
  • If multiple competitors have the same IRM, they should be sorted based on qualification results

Rules for presentation of results for athletes with DNF, DNS, DSQ:

  • DNFs, DNSs and DSQs will not be ranked. DNFs are listed first, followed by DNS and finally DSQ.

Final

  • For competitors who Did Not Start (DNS) or were Disqualified (DSQ), only bib number, FIS code, name and NOC will be presented
  • If multiple competitors have the same IRM, they should be listed based on their bib numbers (ascending)
  • DNFs are listed first, followed by DNS. and finally DSQs are listed at the bottom of the final ranking. Competitors who Did Not Start (DNS) or Did Not Finish (DNF) will receive the last rank in the finals.
  • For competitors who were Disqualified (DSQ), only bib number, FIS code, name and NOC will be presented

If multiple competitors have the same IRM, they should be sorted based on their qualification results

Rules for presentation of results for athletes with DNF, DNS, DSQ, DQIC (finals only):

Finals:

  • DNFs are listed first, followed by DNS, DSQ and finally DQIC
  • Did Not Finish (DNF) is considered a result and competitors will be ranked (if multiple, rankings will be based on the competitor who made it further down the course)
  • Competitor(s) who DNS during the 1/8 Final:
    • assigned status = DNS
    • assigned the last rank within the heat
    • if multiple DNS within the heat, heat rank by bib number
    • assigned the last rank within 1/8 Final (classification 25th - 32nd)
    • if multiple DNS within the 1/8 Final, 1/8 Final rank by bib number (classification 25th - 32nd)
    • DNS competitor(s) DO NOT advance to the next round
    • If DNS competitors cause a Quarterfinal heat to have less than 4 competitors in each heat, then the classification range of the 1/8

Final (25th - 32nd) increases by the number of missing places in each heat to have 4 competitors per heat (eg: if 2 heats in the Quarterfinal only have 3 competitors, then the classification range of the 1/8 Final increases by 2: 25th - 32nd)

  • Competitor(s) who DNS during the Quarterfinal:
    • assigned status = DNS
    • assigned the last rank within the heat
    • if multiple DNS within the heat, heat rank by bib number
    • assigned the last rank within Quarterfinal (classification 13th - 16th)
    • if multiple DNS within the Quarterfinal, Quarterfinal rank by bib number (classification 13th - 16th)
    • DNS competitor(s) DO NOT advance to the next round
    • If DNS competitors cause a Semifinal heat to have less than 4 competitors in each heat, then the classification range of the

Quarterfinal (13th - 16th) increases by the number of missing places in each heat to have 4 competitors per heat (eg: if 1 heat in the

Semifinal only has 3 competitors, then the classification range of the Quarterfinal increases by 1: 13th - 16th)

  • Competitor(s) who DNS during the Semifinals:
    • assigned status = DNS
    • assigned the last rank within the heat
    • if multiple DNS within the heat, heat rank by b bib number
    • DNS competitor(s) progress to Small/Big Final but do not start and are automatically assigned status = DNS within the Small/Big Final
  • Competitor(s) who DNS during the Small Final:
    • assigned status = DNS
    • assigned the last rank within the heat
    • if multiple DNS within the heat, heat rank by bib number
    • assigned last rank within Small Final (classification 5th - 8th)
    • if multiple DNS within the Small Final, Small Final rank by bib number (classification 5th - 8th)

Competitor(s) who DNS during the Big Final:

  • assigned status = DNS
  • assigned the last rank within the heat
  • if multiple DNS within the heat, heat rank by bib number
  • assigned last rank within Big Final (classification 1st - 4th)
  • if multiple DNS within the Big Final, Big Final rank by bib number (classification 1st - 4th)
  • For competitors who were Disqualified (DSQ), or were Disqualified for Intentional Contact (DQIC), only bib number, FIS code, name and NOC will be presented
  • If multiple competitors have the same IRM, they should be sorted based on their bib numbers (ascending)

[edit] Halfpipe, Slopestyle:

IRMs are grouped in the following order:

  • 1 - DNF,
  • 2 - DNS,
  • 3 -DSQ
  • Qualification: Competitors with an IRM are listed with no rank, ordered by bib by ascending order .
  • Finals: Competitors with an IRM in both runs are listed with rank and IRM (ranked last in the final). If multiple competitors have IRMs in the final, they will be sorted by their qualification order. DNF competitors are ranked ahead of DNS competitors.

After the completion of an event, the competitors are ranked as follows:

  • Ranked 1-4

2. Competitors who qualified to Final 2:

  • Ranked 5-10 (ranked based upon Final 2 score)

3. Competitors who qualified to Final 1:

  • Ranked 11-20 (ranked based upon Final 1score)

4. Competitors who did not qualify to the finals:

  • Ranked 21-N (ranked based upon Qualification 2 results)

  • Ranked 1-4

6. Competitors who qualified to Final 2:

  • Ranked 5-8 (ranked based upon Final 2 score)

7. Competitors who qualified to Final 1:

8. Competitors who did not qualify to the finals

  • Ranked 13-N (ranked based upon Qualification 2 results)

  • Big Final: ranked 1-4
  • Small Final: ranked 5-8

2. Losers of Quarterfinals:

  • Ranked 9 - 12 (3rd heat ranked, according to their bib number)
  • Ranked 13-16 (4th heat ranked, according to their bib number)

3. Losers of 1/8 Finals:

  • Ranked 17- 24 (3rd heat ranked, according to their bib number)
  • Ranked 25-32 (4th heat ranked, according to their bib number
