18. Television

The details are defined in the contract between FIS, National Ski Association and the Organising Committee. If no special contracts have been agreed, the following conditions are valid:

18.1 All television rights of the FIS World Championships or any other international championships or competitions organised directly by the FIS shall be the exclusive property of the FIS.

18.2 The FIS together with the Organising National Ski Association shall negotiate with the TV corporations. The FIS Council makes the final decision.

18.3 The Organising Committee of the FIS World Championships has to pay to the FIS the portion of the income from television transmissions indicated in art. 17.1.2. The remaining portion is to go to the Organiser of the FIS World Championships.
